Ever wanted to learn more about business?
Have you ever felt like you want to do more BPA activities but they don’t work with your schedule? The 2018-2019 State Executive Council has created this page this year to help you get more business enrichment opportunities and further your passion for business. Below are internships and business camps. Check back soon as we will be adding more camps and internships as the year progresses! Be sure to check out the booths many of these camps and internships will have as well at the State Leadership Conference. We hope to see you there!
The mission of Business Professionals of America is to contribute to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills.
As a co-curricular organization, Business Professionals of America has the ability to enhance student participation in professional, civic, service and social endeavors. Business Professionals of America members participate in these activities to accomplish their goals of self-improvement, leadership development, professionalism, community service, career development, public relations, student cooperation, safety and health.
Some of BPA’s other major programs include the National Leadership Academy, National Officer elections and scholarships. The Torch Awards Program and BPA Cares Program recognize students and chapters, respectively, for their leadership and service to their chapter and community.
Our vision for Business Professionals of America is: To be an innovator in Career and Technical Education, providing our members with opportunities for growth through education, competition, community service and personal development.
With 45,000 members in over 1,800 chapters across 25 states and Puerto Rico, as well as an international presence in China, Haiti and Peru, BPA is an organization that supports business and information technology educators by offering co-curricular exercises based on national standards.
