Presubmissions
Dec 7 - Dec 16
All presubmissions are due Dec 16 at 6:00 p.m. No late submissions are allowed.
✎ TESTING EVENTS
Jan 6 - Jan 8
Testing Events take place on each student's home campus.
OPEN EVENTS
Jan 12 - Jan 13
Open Events are tested at the home campus and do not advance.
Finalist Released
Jan 8
Target date for releasing finalist names and schedules.
RLC FINALS
Jan 16
Judged Event finalists compete live at Reedy High School.

Complete your chapter’s RLC registration during the regular registration window to avoid late registration and last-minute issues.

Regular Registration: November 9 - December 4, 2026
Registration closes December 4 at 5:00 p.m.
LATE Registration: December 5, 2026
Late registration is available through December 5. All RLC registrations close at 5:00 p.m.

JUDGED EVENTS
Presubmissions = Your Preliminary Round
ALL Judged Events must participate in Presubmissions. Think of Presubmissions as the preliminary round of competition for every Judged Event.
Students will submit their required technical work and a recorded judges' presentation for preliminary judging. Only students who advance as finalists will present live to judges at Reedy High School.
If you are competing in a Judged Event, you MUST presubmit to be considered for finals.
SUBMISSION WINDOW
DEC 7 – DEC 16
Presubmissions close
December 16 at 6:00 p.m. sharp.
WHAT STUDENTS SUBMIT
Technical Work + Recorded Presentation
This requirement applies to ALL Judged Events.
If your project is not submitted by the deadline, it will not move forward to preliminary judging.

HOME CAMPUS COMPETITION
Testing & Open Events
Testing Events
Jan 6 – Jan 8
Students complete Testing Events at their home campus during the testing window.
Advisors will coordinate testing procedures and proctoring at their school.
OPEN EVENTS
Jan 12 – Jan 13
Open Events do not advance to the next level of competition, but they are another opportunity for students to earn recognition for their chapter.
THE ROAD TO RLC FINALS
From Preliminary Judging to Finals
Judged Event competitors begin with preliminary judging.
Students who advance will be announced as finalists and invited to compete live at Reedy High School.

Judges evaluate submitted technical work and recorded presentations during the preliminary round.

Regional President Election
EMAIL BALLOT
2 VOTES PER CHAPTER
Each Area 1 Region 3 chapter will receive two votes in the Regional President election.
Chapters should identify their two voting delegates before voting begins.

✓ Review finalist names and schedules when released
✓ Prepare finalists for RLC Finals on January 16 at Reedy High School
✓ Identify your two Regional President voting delegates
✓ Collect personal email addresses from voting delegates
✓ Confirm transportation and arrival plans for finalists
✓ Review final RLC information and schedules with students
